READING
This week we will reading a trade book called Keep The Lights Burning, Abbie. Students will predict what will happen and sequence important events of the story. We will also retell events in the story and describe the main character.
Vocabulary words are:
trimmed, towers, between, dangerous, scrape, wick
MATH
We will be working on
Making and labeling an array, writing a number sentence for arrays and telling and showing time to the quarter hour.
We are spending time with problem solving.
Students need to work on their flash cards.
We need to be able to know our facts quickly.

Toothpaste
There is toothpaste on my fingers.
There is toothpaste in my nose.
There is toothpaste on my mirror
In a hundred squiggly rows.
Every time I squeeze the toothpaste.
It sprays north and west and south.
There is toothpaste almost everywhere,
Except inside my mouth!
